Crime Summary: Auto Thefts, Armed Robbery, Indecent Exposure Reported

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County Police for Germantown. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

An armed robbery was reported in the 12800 block of Clopper Road in Germantown on Monday, April 8m between 6:30 and 9:15 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

Two vehicle thefts were reported in Germantown:

  • In the 19900 block of Sweetgum Circle in Germantown on Saturday, April 6 between 7 and 8 pm.
  • In the 13200 block of Bristlecone Way in Germantown, between 9 p.m. on Monday, April 8 and 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9.

Police said a male suspect exposed himself in the 22900 block of New Cut Road in Clarksburg on Wednesday, April 3, at around 9:15 p.m.

A robbery was reported in the 19700 block of Frederick Road in Germantown on Wednesday, April 3, at 10:41 p.m. Police said the alleged victim was assaulted and robbed by more than one person.

A residential burglary was reported in the 12200 block of Major Drive in Germantown on Thursday, April 4, at 5:55 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Observation Court in Germantown, on Friday, April 5, at4:55 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A theft from vehicle was reported in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road in Germantown on Monday, April 1, at around 7:30 a.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 25400 block of Damascus Park Terrace in Damascus on Saturday, April 6, between noon and 5 p.m. Property was taken from an open garage.

A residential burglary was reported in the 20100 block of Laurel Hill Way in Germantown on Monday, April 1, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:37 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

Two vehicle-related thefts were reported on Tuesday, April 2, between midnight and 10:25 a.m.:

  • In the event reported in the unit block of Valleyside Court in Germantown, entry was made through an unlocked door, the vehicle interior was ransacked and an empty wallet was taken.
  • In the event reported in the 12400 block of Valleyside Way in Germantown, the point of entry is unknown, the glove box was searched and a wallet was taken.

Three residential burglaries were reported between Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9:

  • In the event that was reported in the 18300 block of Fable Drive in Boyds. No forced entry; property taken.
  • In the event that was reported in the 18400 block of Fable Drive in Boyds. No forced entry; property taken.
  • In the event that was reported in the 13400 block of Stonebridge Terrace in Germantown. No forced entry; property taken.
