Crime Summary: Bullet-Proof Vest, Pellet Gun Snagged in Car-Related Thefts

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 33-year-old Germantown man was arrested following reports of an alleged residential burglary in the 11700 block of Trophy Court, between 10:15 p.m.  Oct. 18, and 1 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19. Police said there were signs of forced entry, though it was unknown whether anything was taken.

A 16-year-old male from Germantown was arrested following reports of an alleged aggravated assault at Clarksburg High School on  Oct. 16, at around 11:30 a.m. Police said the teen knew the alleged victim.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 12200 block of Eagles Nest Court around 11 p.m. Oct. 18. Police said the suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property. The suspect was described as a male in a red hoodie, age 17 to 21, between 5-foot-5 and 5-fot-8, and 150 pounds.

A bullet-proof vest, a pellet gun and loose change were among items reported missing following multiple reports of vehicle-related thefts in Germantown between  Oct. 15 and  Oct. 23. Police said the alleged thefts occurred on Spinning Wheel Court between 8 p.m. Oct. 17 and 6 a.m. Oct. 18, and several other events were reported on Spinning Wheel Drive and Spinning Wheel Place on later dates.

A sex offense was reported in the 19700 block of Crystal Rock Drive at 10:45 p.m.  Oct. 18. Police said a male suspect was looking into windows. A detailed description of the suspect was unavailable. A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 18500 block of Highstream Drive, Germantown around 1:45 p.m. Oct. 19. Police said the suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property. A detailed description of the suspect was unavailable.

An 18-year-old Germantown man was arrested following reports of a residential burglary in the 13300 block of Dovedale Way at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22. Police said nothing was reported missing.

In Dickerson, two Barnesville School sheds were burglarized between 6 p.m.  Oct. 15 and 2 p.m. Oct. 17.
