Crime Summary: Burglary Arrests Made, Strong-Arm Robbery Reported

Germantown, Upcounty

A residential burglary was reported in the 11100 block of Sceptre Ridge Terrace in Germantown on Thursday, May 2, between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 10100 block of Shelldrake Circle in Damascus on Sunday, May 5, between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  No forced entry. Property taken.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 23700 block of Frederick Road in Germantown on Sunday, May 5, at around 3 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.

A 27-yearpold man from Silver Spring was arrested follwing reports of a residential burglary/assault in the 12500 block of Eagle View Way in Germantown on Thursday, May 2 around 6:30 a.m. Police said the man knew the victim.

A 21-year-old Clarksburg man was arrested following reports of multiple vehicle-related thefts in the 21500 block of Manor View Circle in Germantown, at around 4 a.m. Monday, May 6.

Three vehicle-related thefts were reported within on Walnut Cove Circle, Ebbtide Circle, and Flag Harbor Drive on Wednesday, May 1. GPS units and an iPod were among the items reported missing. Police said the doors were unlocked.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13200 block of Chalet Drive in Germantown on Wednesday, May 1, at around 9:30 p.m.  No forced entry. Property taken.

A 48-year-old Capital Heights man was arrested following a report of a vehicle-related theft in the 18900 block of Lark Song Terrace in Germantown on Friday, May 3, at around 10:30 p.m. Police said tools were reported missing.

North Potomac-Darnestown

A residential burglary was reported in the 21100 block of Beallsville Road in Dickerson on Tuesday, March 30, between noon and 4 p.m.  No forced entry. Property taken.

A theft was reported in two unsecured homes under construction in the 10100 block of Wootton Crest Way near North Potomac, between 6 a.m. Sunday, May 5 and 7 a.m. Monday, May 6.
