Crime Summary: Female Robbed at Gunpoint, Car Parts Stolen

The following information was provided by Montgomery County police department's District 5, which includes Germantown, Boyds, Clarksburg and Damascus. Arrests do not imply conviction.

Female at bus stop robbed at gunpoint 
Police are looking for a suspect who grabbed a female at a bus stop and robbed her at gunpoint. The alleged incident happened at Germantown Bus stop near Locbury Circle and Rexmore Drive at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5. A detailed description of the suspect was unavailable. 

Armed robbery
An armed robbery was reported in the 12600 block of Grey Eagle Court in Germantown around 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30.  The suspects threatened the victim with a firearm and obtained property. A detailed description of the two male suspects was unavailable. 

Men arrested after fight at Greene Turtle
Two Germantown men were arrested for fighting at The Greene Turtle, 19961 Century Boulevard, at around 2 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1. A 23 year old and a 27 year old were taken into police custody for aggravated assault.

Vehicle break-ins, car Parts taken at MARC station parking lot
Six vehicle-related thefts were reported in the Germantown MARC Train Station parking lot, at 19311 Mateny Hill Road in Germantown between Sunday, Feb. 3 and Tuesday, Feb. 5:

  • On Feb. 3 — four parked vehicles were broken into. Nothing was reported missing.
  • Between Feb. 3 and Feb. 5 — vehicle parts were taken
  • On Feb. 5 — Entry was forced into a vehicle

A residential burglary was reported in the 11100 block of Maryland Manor Court in Germantown between 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 and 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30.  Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 19400 block of Zinnia Circle in Germantown between 6:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30.  Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 20100 block of Locustdale Drive in Germantown around 10:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31.  The suspect is known to the victim. Arrested: Male, 49, from Germantown

A residential burglary was reported in the 11400 block of Scottsbury Lane in Germantown around 4:35 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1.  No further details are available at this time.

An attempted commercial burglary was reported at Pleasant Grove Community Church located at 11225 Mountain View Road in Damascus between 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 and 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3.  Attempted forced entry; nothing taken. 

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Cottage Field Court in Germantown between 8:15 a.m. and 9:25 a.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13000 block of Well House Court in Germantown between 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 and 6:20 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3.  Unforced entry; nothing taken. 

A residential burglary was reported in the 13600 block of Harvest Glen Way in Germantown around 3:25 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4.  The suspect is known to the victim. Arrested: Male, 16, from Germantown
