Crime Summary for July 14

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department for Germantown's 5th district. It does not indicate a conviction.

An aggravated assault was reported in the 18600 block of Sage Way in Germantown at 12:42 a.m. Friday, July 1. The suspect threatened another person with a weapon, according to police. The suspect is described as a 22- to 28-year-old male, between 180 and 200 pounds, and was last seen in a maroon van. 

Three motorcycle thefts were reported in Germantown on Wednesday, June 29:

  • 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was reported stolen from the 12900 block of Middlebrook Road
  • 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was reported stolen from the 19900 block of Sweetgum Circle
  • 2008 Yamaha motorcycle was reported stolen from the 20000 block of Sweetgum Circle.

A home burglary was reported in the 9600 block of Brink Road in Germantown on Friday, July 1, between 7 and 11:17 a.m. Police said there were signs of forced entry. 

A home burglary was reported in the 10200 block of Brink Road in Germantown between Thursday, June 30, and Friday, July 1. Police said there were signs of forced entry, though nothing was taken.

A home garage burglary was reported in the 12800 block Gorman Circle in Germantown on Thursday, June 30 at 7:05 p.m. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.

A home burglary was reported in the 18200 block of Smoke House Court in Germantown on Tuesday, June 28. Police said there were signs of forced entry.

A home burglary was reported in the 12900 block of Churchill Ridge Circle in Germantown on Monday, June 27. Police said there were signs of forced entry.
