Crime Summary for June 16

Police arrested three Germantown teens after reports of attempted home burglaries in the 13200 block of Astoria Hills Court in Germantown and 13400 Burnt Woods Place, Germantown. Police said the incidents occurred between 8:50 and 9:02 a.m. Tuesday, May 31. A 17-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old — all males — were taken in to custody.

Six thefts from vehicles were reported on Misty Meadow Drive in Germantown, overnight between Monday, May 30, and Tuesday, May  31. Property taken included small change and electronics.

 An armed robbery was reported in the 13400 block of Daventry Way in Germantown on May 31. Police said a suspect displayed a weapon while another suspect assaulted the alleged victim and took property.

Police are searching for two suspects in an attempted strong-arm robbery reported in the 12800 block of Sage Terrace in Germantown on May 31. Police said the suspects confronted the alleged victim but didn’t take anything.

An attempted commercial burglary was reported at LP Oliver & Son’s, 24610 Frederick Road in Germantown, between 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, and 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2.

 A commercial burglary was reported at 19609 Frederick Road in Germantown between Thursday, June 2, and Tuesday, June 7. Police said there were signs of forced entry, but it was unknown whether any property was taken.

 A home burglary as reported in the 12200 block of Eagles Nest Court in Germantown on Friday, June 3, between 6 and 7 p.m.

A home burglary was reported in the 13100 block of Thackery Place, Germantown on Saturday, June 4, between 11 a.m. and 11:15 p.m.
