Crime Summary: Indecent Exposure Reported at Germantown Zips, More

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Police said a man in a hooded sweatshirt exposed himself in the parking lot of Zips Cleaners, at 13081 Wisteria Drive in Germantown. The indecent exposure incident was reported at around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19. Further details were unavailable.

An 18-year-old man from Germantown was arrested following reports of a strong-arm robbery in the 18000 block of Mateny Road, Germantown, on Monday, March 18 at around 2:40 pm. Police allege the man assaulted the victim and tried to take the person’s property.

A 19-year-old man from Damascus was arrested following reports of a burglary at a barn the 11300 block of Mountain View Road, Damascus, between March 20 and Saturday, March 23. Police said there were no signs of forced entry but property was reported missing.

A residential burglary was reported in the 19500 block of Twinflower Circle in Germantown on Monday, March 25, at around 1:30 p.m. Further details were unavailable.

Five overnight vehicle-related thefts were reported between Sunday, March 17 and Monday, March 18 near or west of Father Hurley Boulevard in Germantown. Two events were reported on Bristlecone Way. In each event, vehicles were broken into.

Six overnight thefts from vehicles were reported between Sunday, March 17 and Saturday, March 23 west of Father Hurley Boulevard in Germantown. Three events were reported on Highstream Drive. Entry was not forced in any of the events.

A residential burglary was reported in the 12800 block of Talley Lane, North Potomac on Thursday, March 21, between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.  No forced entry; property taken.

A theft from a vehicle was reported at Lee’s Tree Service, 16105 Morrow Road, Poolesville on Friday, March 22. Forced entry; property taken.
