Crime Summary: Robbery Reported Outside Library

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police suspect two men and a woman were involved in a strong-arm robbery reported in front of the Germantown Library, 19840 Century Boulevard, at 10:30 p.m.  Friday, March 23. The suspects, who police said assaulted the alleged victim, were described as:

  • An 18- to 19-year-old female, 5’5”-5’7” tall at 140 pounds
  • A 19- to 20-year-old male, 6”-6’2”, at 185 to 195 pounds
  • A 6”-6’1” tall 18- to 20-year-old male with dreadlocks

A 12-year-old boy from Germantown was arrested following a residential burglary reported in the 14000 block of Gallop Terrace in Germantown on Wednesday, March 21, between 2 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. 

A burglary was reported at St. Nicholas Church, 15575 Germantown Road in Darnestown, between 5 p.m. Friday, March 23 and 4:45 p.m. Saturday, March 24.

Thefts from vehicles were reported overnight between Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23 at unknown times at the following locations:

  • 13400 block of Queenstown Lane, Germantown; forced entry, cash was reported missing
  • 13200 block of Lake Geneva Way, Germantown; unlocked vehicle, purse was reported missing
  • 13400 block of Queenstown Lane, Germantown; unknown entry, a hone charger and cash was reported missing

A residential burglary was reported in the 13100 block of Briarcliff Terrace in Germantown on Tuesday, March 20, between noon and 4:30 p.m.

A residential burglary was reported in the 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown on Friday, March 23, between 12:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. 

A residential burglary was reported in the 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown on Friday, March 23, between 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
