Crime Summary: Man Arrested for Walking Streets Naked, Germantown Community Center Burgled, More

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County Police for Germantown for July 1-9. Arrests do not indicate convictions

Police said a 60-year-old man, of no fixed addressed, was arrested for walking in the street naked in the 12900 block of Middlebrook Road, at around 12:45 a.m. Monday, July 1.

Police arrested an 18-year-old Montgomery Village resident found naked at a community pool in the 19600 block of Galway Bay Circle  on Sunday, July 7, at around 9 p.m.

A strong-arm robbery was reported at Mateny Road and Cinnamon Drive  on Sunday, July 7 at around 9:50 p.m. Police said three males assaulted the alleged victim and obtained property.

An 18-year-old man of no fixed addressed was arrested following reports of a residential burglary in the 11400 block of Tall Forest Circle, between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 3. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 11400 block of Scenery Place  between 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7 and 1:40 a.m. Monday, July 8. No forced entry; property taken.

A theft was reported at a construction site located at 19801 Observation Drive in overnight Thursday, July 4. Forced entry; property taken.

Three thefts from vehicles were reported on Bloomingville Court, between Sunday, July 7 and Monday, July 8. Entry was made into two of the vehicles through unlocked doors and a cell phone and CDs were taken in those events.

A residential burglary was reported in the 20400 block of Sunbright Lane, between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. Forced entry; property taken.

A vehicle theft was reported in the 12366 block of Quail Woods Drive, overnight on Tuesday, July 2.

A residential burglary was reported in the 19500 block of White Saddle Drive, between 7:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13400 block of WInterspoon Lane on Monday, July 8, at around 12:35 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

Three thefts from vehicles were reported on Waters Point Lane, overnight, between Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2. Entry was made in all thefts through unlocked doors. Loose change, a purse and a laptop were taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Ranworth Court, between 6 p.m. Monday, July 1 and 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Ranworth Court, between 2:20 and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 2. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13900 block of Briarwick Street on Tuesday, July 2. No forced entry; property taken.

An attempted residential burglary was reported between 3 and 4:31 p.m. Sunday, July 7 in the 18600 block of Glen Willow Way. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13000 block of Thyme Court  on Sunday, July 7, between 2:30 and 8:17 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 18400 block of Stone Hollow Drive on Sunday, July 7 between 7:20 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 18000 block of Barleycorn Way  on Tuesday, July 9, between noon and 4 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary was reported on Thursday, July 4 around 3:15 a.m. at the Germantown Community Center located at 18905 Kingsview Road. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.

A commercial burglary was reported overnight between Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5 at the Upper Montgomery County Athletic Club located at 19501 White Ground Drive in Boyds. Forced entry; nothing taken.
