Crime Summary: Person Robbed at Gunpoint, French Horn Theft Reported

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Armed Robbery Suspects Sought

A person was robbed at gunpoint in the 20400 block of Autumn Harvest Circle on Nov. 14.

Police said the incident happened at around 7:20 p.m. Two males approached the alleged victim; a man with a handgun made threats and demanded property, police said.

The armed suspect was described as 6’2” tall and 200 pounds; a second male suspect was wearing a “hoodie.”

Germantown Teen Arrested

A rash of residential burglaries in Derwood led to the arrest of a Germantown teen. Three burglaries were reported in the in the 7700 block of Yellowstone Way in Derwood, between 2 and 3:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. Police said in one instance, entry was unforced; the third attempt was unsuccessful. A 14-year-old male from Germantown and a 14-year-old from Silver Spring were arrested near the scene.

 

French Horn Stolen

A French horn was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 23000 block of Turtle Rock Terrace in Clarksburg. Police said the theft occurred sometime between 6:35 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, and 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17.

 

Credit Cards Stolen

Credit cards, iPods and boots were among the items reported stolen in a series of vehicle-related thefts in Clarksburg. Police said Sycamore Farm, Catawba Hill, Cypress Spring and Benton Park were targeted between Friday, Nov. 16 and Sunday, Nov. 18. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.

 

Vehicle-Related Thefts in Germantown

Police said vehicles on Peridot Lane, Appledowre Circle and Frederick Road in Germantown were targets of three vehicle-related thefts between Nov. 15 and Nov. 18. GPS units, iPods, and a cell phone charger were reported stolen. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.

 

Burglaries Reported

A residential burglary was reported in the 23800 block of Burdette Forest Lane in Clarksburg on Wednesday, Nov. 14 between noon and 3 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

Two burglaries were reported in the 19700 block of Teakwood Circle in Germantown on Monday, Nov. 19 between 9 a.m. and noon. Both had forced entry and property was taken. 

A residential burglary was reported in the 11000 block of Churchill Ridge Circle in Germantown on Wednesday, Nov. 14 between 2 and 9 p.m.  Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 19600 block of Galway Bay Circle in Germantown between Friday, Nov. 16 and Monday, Nov. 19.  Forced entry; nothing taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13000 block of Prairie Knoll Court in Germantown on Monday, Nov. 12 between 10 a.m. and 12:35 p.m.  No forced entry; property taken.
