Crime Summary: Seneca Convenience Robbed, Vehicle Thefts Reported

The following incidents were supplied by Montgomery County police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Seneca Convenience was robbed by two men on Monday, April 15. Police said the incident occurred at around 9:50 p.m. A detailed description of the two male suspects was unavailable.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the commercial parking lot at Wisteria Drive and Great Seneca Highway on Thursday, April 11, at around 4:30 p.m. Police said two males forcefully removed property from the victim.

  • In the 19900 block of Sweetgum Circle in Germantown, a vehicle was taken on Saturday, April 6 between 7 and 8 pm.
  • In the 13200 block of Bristlecone Way in Germantown, between 9 p.m. Monday, April 8 and 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 9.
  • In the 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown, between 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 10.

An armed robbery was reported in the 12800 block of Clopper Road in Germantown on Monday, April 8, between 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive in Germantown on Thursday, April 11, around 8:50 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and obtained property.

A 30-year-old Germantown man was arrested following reports of an aggravated assault near Davis Mill Road and Blunt Road on Saturday, April 13, between 5 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Police said the suspect knew the victim.

Two vehicle-related thefts were reported in commercial parking lots on Century Boulevard in Germantown on Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9:

  • In one event, entry was unknown and a briefcase containing a laptop, headphones, medication and personal documents were taken.
  • In the other event, a side window was left open and a laptop, cell phone and bag containing personal items were taken.

Three residential burglaries were reported between Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9. Force was not used in any of the events:

  • In the 18300 block of Fable Drive in Boyds, property taken around 6:30 a.m.
  • In the 18400 block of Fable Drive in Boyds, property was taken around 6:30 a.m. as well.
  • In the 13400 block of Stonebridge Terrace in Germantown, between 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Property was taken.

Two vehicle-related thefts were reported:

  • In the 13600 block of Giant Court in Germantown, between 10 p.m. Friday, April 12 and 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13. Unknown entry. Property taken.
  • In the 13200 block of Scarlet Mist Way in Germantown between 2:45 a.m. Saturday, April 13 and 2:45 a.m. Monday, April 15. No forced entry. Property taken.
