Crime Summary: Strong-Arm Robbery Near The Greene Turtle

The following information was supplied by Montgomery County Police for Germantown and surrounding regions. It does not indicate a conviction.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 19100 block of Partridge Wood Drive midnight, Wednesday, Aug. 22.  The suspects assaulted the victim and removed property. Police said the suspects were two males, between 16 to 20 years old.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the parking lot of The Greene Turtle in Germantown, between 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, and 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22. Police were unable to provide further details.

An attempted strong-arm robbery was reported at The Germantown Transit Center, 19945 Aircraft Drive, at around noon Thursday, Aug. 23. Police said the suspect threatened the victim and tried to forcefully remove property.

An 18-year-old man was arrested following a report of an alleged residential burglary in the unit block of Scottsbury Court at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23. Police said there were signs of forced entry but nothing was reported missing. Moyiwa P. Davies — for whom court records accessed online provide a Gaithersburg address — was charged with fourth degree burglary and malicious destruction of property.

A residential burglary was reported in the 23100 block of Birch Meade Road in Clarksburg on Monday, Aug. 20, between 1 and 7:20 a.m.

Two thefts from vehicles reported overnight, between Wednesday, Aug.22 and Thursday, Aug. 23, on Gorman Circle in Boyds. Police said in both events the vehicle was unlocked and loose change was taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 18400 block of Crownsgate Circle, sometime between Wednesday, Aug. 22 and Sunday, Aug. 26.
