Germantown Man Charged With Sexual Assault After Armed Home Invasion

Perry Eugene Lee Jr., faces charges of sexual offenses, assault, burglary and weapons offenses, according to Frederick police.

A Germantown man faces assault and sex offense charges stemming from reports of an armed home invasion in Frederick, MD.

Perry Eugene Lee, 21, of the 13000 block of Ansel Terrace, is accused of breaking into a home and sexually assaulting a resident on Saturday, according to a press release issued by Frederick police.

Lee was arrested in connection with reports of a disturbance—a group of males arguing, one with a gun in his waistband—at around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Police said Lee matched the description of the man with the gun.

Police claim Lee had a loaded firearm, crack and marijuana at the time of his arrest, The Frederick News-Post reports.

Detectives later named Lee as the suspect in the sexual assault.

According to Frederick County District Court records accessed online, Lee was held without bail on charges of first-degree burglary, two counts of first-degree assault, first and third degree sexual offense, and using a handgun in a felony or violent crime.

Court records show Lee was held on $30,000 bond on separate charges of marijuana and cocaine possession, related offenses of intent to distribute the drugs, possession of paraphernalia, wearing and carrying a dangerous weapon, and possessing a firearm while distributing a controlled dangerous substance.
