Germantown Man Charged in Theft, Vandalism Spree

Police: Suspect identified from surveillance video; two suspects still at large

A Germantown man has been charged in what police describe as a weekend spree of vandalism and thievery in Damascus earlier this month.

Rodney Sylvester Hall, 18, of 12900 block of Summit Ridge Terrace, was charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft, Montgomery County police said Tuesday.

The thieves targeted the Plantations II neighborhood on the nights of Sept. 1 and Sept. 2.  Police said Hall, who was arrested on Sept. 14, was one of three men allegedly captured on surveillance trying to break into a car.
