Germantown Man Killed in Head-On Crash

Thong Ba Huynh, 77, died from injuries suffered in Sunday evening crash.

A 77-year-old passenger was killed in a head-on collision Sunday at Great Seneca Highway and Clopper Road, Montgomery County police said in a news release.

Thong Ba Huynh, 77, of the 18000 block of Mateny Road, died at the hospital from injuries he suffered after a Hyundai traveling the wrong way on Great Seneca Highway crashed in to the Toyota he was riding in, Montgomery County police said.

Police said the crash happened at around 6 p.m.

The driver of the Hyundai, James Thomas Marks, 52, of the 5600 block of Luxemburg Street in North Bethesda, was taken to the hospital.

The driver and a second passenger of the Toyota were also hospitalized, Police said.

Police said a third vehicle was damaged by debris from the crash.

Police said no charges had been placed.
