Here is the note emailed to Northwood High School parents about the evacuations:

Northwood High School is in the process of evacuating due to a threat made against the school that was phoned into police. We took this action in an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our students and staff while the police investigate this threat. Once it the police assure us it is safe for us to re- enter the building, we will do so. Because of the rainy weather, we are taking the 9th and 10th graders to Forest Knolls elementary school and the 11th and 12 graders to Rice Memorial Church. The principal will contact you later with more information as it becomes available. Please know all student are safe and secure.

This is a developing story that will be updated as more information becomes available.
