Oct. 13 Crime Summary: Aggravated assault arrests, sexual assault reported

The Montgomery County Police department supplied the following arrest information for Germantown's 5th District. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 40-year-old Germantown man was arrested following an aggravated assault reported in the 8100 block of Town Center Drive, Olney, at around 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

Montgomery County Police arrested a 49-year-old Germantown man on charges of aggravated assault for allegedly threatening someone with a weapon in the 20400 block of Cabana Drive in Germantown on Friday, Sept. 30 at 1:15 a.m. 

A sexual assault was reported in the 19100 block of Cherry Bend Drive in Germantown at 12:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3.

  • A residential burglary was reported in the 18700 block of Martins Landing Drive in Germantown on Friday, Sept. 30, between midnight and 6:45 a.m.
  • A residential burglary was reported at 19602 Rhinestone Drive in Germantown on Tuesday, Sept. 27, between 10:30 a.m. and noon.
  • An attempted residential burglary was reported in the 19300 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown on Saturday, Oct. 1, between 2:30 and 5 p.m.
  • Two thefts from vehicles were reported in the 18900 block of Ebbtide Circle in Germantown overnight, between Tuesday, Sept. 27, and Wednesday, Sept. 28.
  • A theft from vehicle was reported in the 18700 block of Martins Landing Drive in Germantown overnight, between Tuesday, Sept. 27 and Wednesday, Sept. 28. 
  • A theft from vehicle was reported in the 19200 block of Circle Gate Drive in Germantown overnight, between Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29.
  • A residential burglary was reported in the 17600 block of Charity Lane in Germantown at 12:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29.
