Montgomery County police released photographs Wednesday of a suspect in the early-November robbery at a Germantown Subway restaurant.
Officers responded to the Subway restaurant, located at 19911 Frederick Road, at approximately 9:22 a.m. on Nov. 4, for the report of a commercial armed robbery, police said.
An investigation revealed the suspect entered the front door, walked to the cash register, displayed a handgun, and demanded money, police said. An employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot through the back door of the business.
The suspect is described by police as an unknown male, standing approximately 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 210 to 220 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black, North Face Jacket, a ball cap, jeans, and a dark scarf around his face.
Police said the suspect's clothing is actually darker than it appears in the photos.
Police also released photographs of a female who was in the restaurant prior to the robbery and may have witnessed it.
