Police Search for Missing Germantown Man

Abdul Soofi, 46, was last seen Feb. 24, according to Montgomery County Police.

The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding Abdul Soofi, who family members say has been unreachable since Feb. 24.

Soofi, 46, was last seen at the18000 block of Cottage Garden Drive in Germantown. Police said he left to go to an 8 a.m. appointment in Upper Marlboro, Md., but reportedly never made it. Soofi is a South Carolina native who visits Montgomery County regularly. But police said he has not returned to his address in South Carolina, either.

Soofi is as a Pakistani male, 5’ 05” tall, and weighing 150 pounds. He has gray hair, wears glasses and has a mole on his right cheek near his mouth. Police said he drives a blue 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan with South Carolina plates: "GF2913."
