Police Search for Suspect in Second Stun Gun Robbery

Montgomery County Police are searching for a man with a stun gun who allegedly robbed a person at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the Bank of America ATM at 19707 Germantown Rd. — the same place video footage captured a masked, stun gun-wielding person apparently robbing an ATM user on June 27.

Police described the suspect as a white male, 170 pounds at 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a black ski mask and a jumpsuit with stripes.

  • A garage burglary was reported in the 20300 block of Watkins Meadow Drive in Germantown on Tuesday, July 19. 
  • A home burglary was reported in the 19900 Waterloo Court in Germantown on Tuesday, July 19 at 9:26 p.m.
  • Police arrested a 25-year-old Germantown man for a sexual offense Tuesday, July 19, in the 19500 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown. Police said a woman reported that an unknown person was banging on her front door and the arriving officers found the suspect naked in the parking lot.
  • A home burglary was reported in the 19100 block of Highstream Drive in Germantown on Wednesday, July 20 between 2:30 and 3 p.m., leading to the arrest of a 12-year-old boy from Germantown, who allegedly stole a dog.
  • An aggravated assault was reported in the 18700 block of Sparkling Water Drive in Germantown on Thursday, July 21.  Police said the incident was domestic and arrested a 17-year- old male suspect at the scene.
  • Police are looking for three men suspected of an armed robbery on Saturday, July 23 in the 19600 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown. Police said one of the men had a handgun.
