UPDATE: Missing Germantown Woman Found

Police: Brittany Carter, 24, of Germantown, has been reunited with her family.

(Updated 2:18 p.m.) A 24 year-old-year Germantown woman who had been reported missing has been reuinted with her family, Montgomery County Police announced Wednesday.

Brittany Carter had been missing since Friday Sept. 9.

Police made the announcement that Carter had been located, after asking the public to help find her late Tuesday.

(original) Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 5th District Investigative Section have asked the public for help finding a Germantown woman, who has been missing since Friday, Sept. 9.

Brittany Carter, 24, of the 13200 block of Country Ridge Drive, is described as a black female, 5’3” tall, 150 pounds, with black hair. She has a tattoo on her shoulder and a pierced lip. She uses public transportation.

Police said that at this stage of the investigation, there was no evidence of foul play. Carter reportedly has not had contact with her family since Friday
