Police Seek Help in Search for Missing 11-Year-Old

The Germantown boy was last seen in Silver Spring

A Germantown boy is missing, and Montgomery County Police want the public's help.

Anthony Leonard Jr., 11, of the 14000 block of Gallop Terrace, was last seen at 706 University Blvd. in Silver Spring, at about 1 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Police and family are concerned because of his age, according to a statement from the Family Crimes Division.

He is African-American, 4 feet tall and weighs 140 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair. Police said he was last seen wearing a red shirt with long black sleeves with a gray vest and black sweat pants.  He was also wearing a "76ers" basketball jersey under his shirt.

Information about his whereabouts can be shared with Montgomery County Police through the non-emergency number, 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
