Police: Seven Youths Rob Pizza Man

K-9 led police to suspects

Three teens and four young men from Germantown were charged with robbing a pizza delivery man Monday night.

According to Montgomery County Police, officers from the 5th district responded to reports of a robbery in the 19000 block of Partridge Wood Drive in Germantown at around 9:20 p.m.

Investigators later determined that the suspects approached the driver as he walked to a home carrying a pizza. Police said the suspects surrounded the delivery man, and demanded his money and the pizza.

A police K-9 later led police to a residence in the 19000 block of Partridge Wood Drive, where police found the pizza boxes and the pizza man’s property.

Police made seven arrests.

The three juvenile suspects — a 17-year-old female, a 16-year-old male, and a 15-year-old male  — were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft under $1000. Police said the youths were released to their parents or guardians.

The four adults — Brian Henry,18, of the 19000 block of Partridge Wood Drive; Michael Baltimore,18, of the 19000 block of Partridge Wood Drive; Seth Sykes,18, of the 19000 block of Partridge Wood Drive; and Daryl Malik Jackson,18, , of the 19000 block of Wheel Wright Drive — were charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and theft under $1000, police said.

Henry, Sykes and Jackson were held on $20,000 bond and committed to the Montgomery County Detention Center. Baltimore was released after posting a $20,000 bond.
