Santa Sightings

Santa and his elves will cruise through Germantown on Wednesday.

Reindeer? Who needs them.

On Wednesday, "elves" on motorcycles will flank Santa when he rides from Germantown to Children’s Inn at the National Institute for Health in Bethesda.

Santa is riding to raise funds for , which serves sick children and their families. Montgomery County Police — which coordinated the ride and supplied the "elves" — has been collecting donations from the county’s six police districts, businesses and residents in order to buy gift cards for families living at the Children’s Inn.
