UPDATE: Two men charged in 2010 homicide

Motorists discovered Alex Nando Roman's body in a Brookeville driveway

Two men were charged with murder in the 2010 slaying of a man whose body was discovered in a driveway in rural Brookeville.

 Timothy D. Jackson and David James Wilson were charged Friday, April 15, with first-degree murder for shooting Alex Nando Roman, 18, of Prince George’s County.

They were being held without bond at Montgomery County Detention Center.

Montgomery County Police records said Jackson was from the 19800 block of Wheelright Drive—next to Watkins Mill High School just outside Montgomery Village—while online court records list a Weaton address in the 11100 block of Georgia Ave. He is also listed as age 20 according to police, but was listed as 21 according to court records.

Police records listed Wilson as being "from an unknown address," while court records listed an address in the 19400 block of Thomas Farm Road, next to Whetstone Elementary School in the Maryland Place community of Montgomery Village. He is listed as age 20 according to police, but was listed as 21 according to court records.

 According to Montgomery County Police, Jackson and Wilson thought Roman was stealing from them, so they met him at the 4900 block of Brookville Road and shot him at around 2 a.m. Jan. 12, 2010.

 Police are investigating whether drug activity was linked to Roman’s death.
