Why This Fireman Wears Pink

Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union will donate $4,000 to fireman's breast cancer charity.

Loosing three sisters to breast cancer inspired Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service Fireman Marshall Moneymaker to try to spare others from a similar fate.

When he’s not fighting fires, he is raising awareness about breast cancer through his charity “For 3 Sisters.”

And for his efforts, the Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union in Germantown will present a $4,000 check to Moneymaker today in support of his charity.

The county credit union launched a two-month fundraising campaign when they learned of Moneymaker’s cause. The donation was the result of a credit card campaign in which $50 was donated for each new account opened.
