Pepco Work Group Public Hearing Jan. 5

The County's Pepco Work Group will hold a public hearing Jan. 5 to solicit input from County residents and and customer comments concerning Pepco's service reliability. Customers will have the chance to share their experience with Pepco outages, as well as their overall satisfaction with service. The hearing will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, at the Council Office Building on 100 Maryland Avenue, Rockville, according to a County press release.

The work group, established by Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett in October, is currently investigating complaints concerning Pepco's service during outages. Leggett will share the Group's recommendations with the Maryland Public Service Commission, which regulates Pepco, as well as Pepco itself.

A limited number of 50 members of the general public will have the opportunity to speak for three minutes, on a first-come first-serve basis.  Speakers must pre-register by calling 240-777-3764.
