Montgomery County government will observe the following holiday schedule for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday on Monday, January 17:
- County Offices -- closed
- Libraries -- closed
- County liquor stores – closed
- Ride On – special modified holiday schedule
- Metrobus – special service
- Metrorail – Saturday schedule (5 a.m. to midnight)
- TRiPS Commuter Stores (Silver Spring and Friendship Heights) – closed
- Refuse/recycling pickup – no collection*
- Transfer Station – closed
- Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters – free
- MCPS Administrative Offices – closed
- State offices & courts – closed
*All collections scheduled on or after the holiday will be made one day later that week
