Holiday Schedule for Independence Day
A list of closings for Montgomery County government.
Montgomery County government will observe the following holiday schedule for Independence Day on Monday, July 4:
- County Offices -- closed
- Libraries -- closed
- County liquor stores – closed
- Ride On – Saturday schedule
- Metrobus – Saturday schedule
- Metrorail – 4th of July special service
- TRiPS Commuter Stores (Silver Spring and Friendship Heights) – closed
- Refuse/recycling pickup – No collection. All collections scheduled on or after the holiday will be made one day later that week.
- Transfer Station – closed
- Parking at public garages, lots, curbside meters – free
- Montgomery County Public Schools Administrative Offices – closed
- State offices and courts – closed
