Leggett to Address UpCounty Citizens Advisory Board

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is scheduled to speak at the BlackRock Center for the Arts on Monday

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett is expected to address the UpCounty Citizens Advisory Board during its annual meeting in Germantown on Monday.

The 20-member board advises the county executive and county council on local issues such as transportation, human services, the environment and public safety. The board also offers comments on Montgomery County’s budget and planning, particularly as they affect residents of Germantown, Gaithersburg, Clarksburg, Damascus and other areas north of Shady Grove Road.

The county executive appoints the board’s 20 members.

Leggett is scheduled to speak to the group at 7 p.m. at the BlackRock Center for the Arts, at 12901 Town Commons Drive.
