On the Agenda: Demographics, Business Growth Upcounty

Upcounty Regional Advisory Board set to meet 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the Upcounty Regional Services Center in Germantown.

The Upcounty Regional Advisory Board was set to begin its 2012-13 session Monday with presentations on demographic trends and the business climate.

Guest speakers were Montgomery County Planning Department’s Richard DeBose and the county’s Economic Development Director, Steve Silverman, according to the agenda. 

Appointed by Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett, the Upcounty Regional Advisory Board represents 30,000 residents in the area north of Shady Grove Road and advises the director of the Upcounty Regional Services Center, the County Executive and County Council.
