Saturday might be the lucky day for the winner of this week’s Readers’ Choice poll: Where do you plan to spend St. Patrick’s Day?

I’ve trawled Patch’s events listings for venues with Irish or St. Patrick’s Day-themed events. If we missed one, post your suggestion in the comments box below and we’ll add it to the poll — an unscientific poll. Voting closes 9 a.m. Friday; results will be posted by noon.

Washingtonian Center, Gaithersburg
The 12th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 17. Dozens of marching bands, nearly 70 parade units, plus live entertainment on Lakefront Plaza, according to the Harp & Shamrock Society of Gaithersburg, the group coordinating the parade.

McDonald’s
Um, hello? Shamrock Shakes. There’s been a reprise — apparently on a national scale, CNN Money reports. There are several McDonald’s in Germantown.

Montgomery County Humane Society, Rockville
The humane society is hosting a shindig for homeless dogs — St. PAWtrick’s Day — at it’s Rockville digs. While you’re there, enjoy beer from Rockville-based nano-brewer, Baying Hound.
