Readers’ Choice: Favorite Teacher

Most high school students had one teacher who was so tough and demanding and gave so much homework that it seemed totally unfair. Only years later do those students appreciate what their teacher was trying to do.

Or, maybe it was an elementary school teacher who put in the extra effort just when your son or daughter needed it most.  

Teachers play such an important role in the lives of local children, and we want you to tell us which local teacher deserves to be given some extra accolades from Patch.

We’re taking nominations for Patch Readers’ Favorite Teacher from now through Monday, July 9. Then, we’ll turn your nominations and our directory listings into a poll. Voting will start Monday, July 23 and end Friday, August 17.
