Students from Germantown Earn Awards at St. Mary's College of Maryland

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD—The following students received multiple awards at St. Mary's College of Maryland on April 26, at the annual Awards Convocation ceremony for exceptional academic achievement:

Joshua Santangelo, a resident of Germantown, received the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Award and the Gentlemen's Club Alumni Award.

Jamel Macauley Graduates from Ohio Christian University

CIRCLEVILLE, OH—Jamel Macauley of Germantown graduated from Ohio Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Business.

 

Darnestown Native Makes Dean's List at Washington and Lee University

LEXINGTON, VA—Lauren Michnick of Darnestown has earned dean's list status for the recently ended winter term 2013.

Michnick  is part of the class of 2014 at Washington and Lee University. Dean's list status at Washington and Lee represents a term grade-average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

 

Northwest Student Will Attend Stevenson University

OWINGS MILLS, MD—Indyah Dixon of Germantown will be attending Stevenson University this fall after graduating from Northwest High School. Dixon was chosen from more than 5,200 applicants in 41 different states.
