Grab your calendar! Here are Germantown's best bets for families this week.

Happy spring break!  Are you and the kids going stir crazy?  Here are some fun events to get you out of the house this week:  


Enjoy a tractor-driven hayride down the Bunny Trail.  Hunt for Easter eggs, enjoy the hay romp and castle, bounce on inflatables, swoosh down the giant slides and more.
Where: 

When:
  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21 through Monday, April 25 (closed Easter Sunday). Also open April 30 and May 1.
Price: $6 for adults, $8 for children. Food and additional activities extra.


Kids can color their own Easter egg and meet the Easter bunny.

PENNY THEATRE
Children ages 3 to 6 can enjoy performances of "Little Babaji" and "Gunniwolf."

PRESCHOOL EGG HUNT / PARENTS NIGHT OUT BOUNCES
Your preschooler can enjoy an egg hunt, snack, bounce time and a craft at the Preschool Egg Hunt.  Parents Night Out is for bouncers ages 4 to 11 and includes pizza and drinks, games, a movie and more.  Limited to 50 participants. Call 301-515-5665 for reservations.

NATURE PROGRAMS AT BLACK HILL
Nature activities for families this week at Black Hill Regional Park.  All events are for children ages 3 and older, except for nature games and activities, which is designed for all ages.  Call 301-528-3492 to register.
Where: Black Hill Regional Park, Visitor Center, 20930 Lake Ridge Drive, Boyds.
When:
 Nature games and activities, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21; Earth Day Garlic Mustard Pull,  9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23; Snakes, 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23; Hummingbirds: Flying Jewels 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, April 25.
Price: Free for Nature games and activities, and Earth Day Garlic Mustard Pull; $4 to $6 for Snakes and Hummingbirds programs.  Advance registration required.


Have your picture taken with the Easter bunny! Come for hugs and photos at the bunny's garden.

• EGGSTRA FUN FAMILY DAY
Fun event for the whole family includes an egg hunt, crafts, play time, egg decorating and more.

EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA
Come to this family-friendly Easter egg hunt, complete with pizza and popsicles, carnival games, music, and more.  Sponsored by Journey's Crossing Christian Church.

KNACK MAKE-IT TAKE-IT EVENT
Kids ages 3 and older are invited to stamp cards and learn to make Easter stamps out of foam.

ACT IT OUT KIDS BOOK CLUB
Kids ages 5 to 8 (grades kindergarten through second) can enjoy reading stories and acting them out together.  To register, call 240-777-0140.

STEPPING STONES STORY TIME
This fun and interactive story time is for children age 5 and younger.
