Montgomery College Crunch Time

Events at MC Germantown this week include a "Poetry Slam", Fall 2011 registration opening and an open Student Senate meeting.

It’s Crunch Time!  Welcome to another week’s Montgomery College Crunch Time for Germantown campus.  Spring classes have two weeks left to go, followed by a week of exams, followed by Summer 2011!  Keep those grades up students! Here’s what’s going on around campus:

  • Are you a poet and you do know it?  Well, there’s an open student poetry reading, “Poetry Slam,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 22, in the cafeteria. Student poetry of all genres, types and themes will be read, so come listen to some rhymes and have a good time.
  • Registration for Fall 2011 semester classes begins Monday, April 25.  You can register for classes online through My MC, or register for class in-person by visiting the Counseling and Advising office.  Be sure to register for your classes early to ensure your enrollment in the classes you want to or need to take.
  • Got some campus concerns?  Tell the Student Senate. On Wednesday, April 27, Montgomery College’s Germantown’s Student Senate will host an open meeting in HS 007 from 1 to 2:30 pm.  This is your chance to make your opinion on campus events and issues heard, and to discuss possible solutions to campus issues with other concerned students.

That’s it for events this week at Montgomery College Germantown campus, check back next week for another MC Crunch Time!
