Obituary: Mary Mueller, Northwest High School Teacher

Mary Mueller, Northwest High School internship coordinator and a business education teacher, has passed away, school officials announced.

Mueller died Thursday, April 26; she was the wife of Richard Mueller and had four children, according to a notice from Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, published in The Washington Post.

Northwest principal Lance Dempsey said counselors met with the students who were in Mueller’s classes.

"Ms. Mueller impacted the lives of numerous students and will be deeply missed,"  Dempsey said in an email sent to parents Friday. 

Funeral services were scheduled for Tuesday at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home in Silver Spring, according to the published notice.
