First-grade gardners at Cedar Grove Elementary School enjoy their harvest with a salad party.
It wasn't hard to convince these first-graders to eat their greens. On Wednesday, students in Claire Gardner’s class at Cedar Grove Elementary School held a Salad Science Party to celebrate the harvest of the salad greens the grew. The gardening project was part of the Audubon Naturalist Society’s GreenKids outreach, which seeks to connect Montgomery County school children with nature. Enjoy!
