"I think it's just practicing really hard, and a lot of my teammates supported me in making sure that I'm swimming fast today,” Dai said. “I know that I can swim fast now, because I've got so many people supporting me."

Fourth-year coach Amy Spady was impressed with the day's results.

"I think they did really well. We have a really young boys team, so we had a couple who made it back to finals. But that was good, because we don't have a single senior," Spady said. "The girls team has a lot of depth. We had a lot of girls who made it back.  Our relays all were either in the final heat, or one of the top places in the semi-finals."
