Recycled Rain Barrels

Purchase your very own rain barrel and benefit the Barnesville School. Pre-order your rain barrel from Aqua Barrel (http://www.aquabarrel.com/bsas.php) and pick it up during the Go For The Green event on Saturday, April 5 between 9 am and 1 pm.

There are three water barrels on the page to choose from. Barnesville receives 15% of the proceeds.

NOTE:  Please note "Barnesville" in the comments section for every purchase to make sure we get the fundraising credit.

Bike Collection

Bikes for the World is teaming up with the Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences seventh grade class to hold a one-day collection of used bicycles. The donated bikes will be distributed overseas where they will be reconditioned and reused to improve the lives of impoverished people by helping them get to work, school, and health services.  Bikes for the World is asking for a $10 donation with each donated bike to defray the shipping costs to those in need.

Drop-off your bikes during the Go For The Green event on Saturday, April 5 between 9 am and 1 pm.

Document Shredding

Gather your old papers, records and files and have them shredded on the day of the Go For The Green event, Saturday, April 5 from 9 am to 1 pm. The community shred is sponsored by Kristen Waksberg & Pat Karta of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc.
