McDonald's at Gunners Branch is within walking distance of my job. I stop there less often than in the past due to their slow service, miscommunications and other foolishness.

They are getting better, however my major complaint was one very hot summer day and some kids went in and asked for courtesy cups to get water. The staff decided they would not give out courtesy cups to the children although they had just given some out to someone else. The kids protested but the staff simply ignored them and refused. I ended up buying burgers and drinks for them but was a bit disturbed by what I saw. A bit later they hand wrote on some yellowed ragged paper that they 'Do Not Give Out Courtesy Cups'. So I stopped going there for about a year. They have new management now and give better customer service, so more than likely things have changed.
