Germantown Glory Fireworks Show
The annual family festivities and fireworks show went off with a bang for July 4th 2011!
Independence Day in Germantown was celebrated with families, local businesses and fireworks at the South Germantown Recreational Park! The open land of green grass was filled with blankets, chairs, ice coolers and plenty of kids playing football or soccer. Local food vendors kept the crowd indulged with funnel cakes, fried Oreos, fresh lemonade, barbecue sandwiches, Italian ice treats and kettle corn. While everyone waited for the main fireworks show, the Regal Beagles Yacht Rock Band entertained the crowd with sounds form the 1970s and '80s and even included a saxaphone and accordian performance!
