Darryl Xavier Brown, 21, of Germantown, has been missing since Wednesday, according to Montgomery County Police.

Missing Persons Network and state police mark 20 years since her body was found along I-270.
Sunday marks 20 years since a worker cutting weeds along southbound Interstate 270 in Frederick County found the body of a young woman. The woman, whose decomposed body was found down an embankment at the Baker Hill Road overpass, has never been identified and her killing remains unsolved. The Maryland Missing Persons Network and Maryland State Police will hold a vigil to bring attention to the cold case at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday in the parking lot of the Worthington Farm on Baker Hill Road at Monocacy National Battlefield. UPDATE, 9 p.m. May 25 -- A 13-year-old Montgomery Village girl has been found "safe and unharmed" and is back with her family -- more than two weeks since her family had last seen her. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Devalle, of Docena Court in the South Village neighborhood of Montgomery Village, was found today in Germantown, according to Montgomery County Police. She had been missing since May 9. Foul play was not suspected when police publicized the case on May 20 after detectives' investigation had gone dry, police said. I refrained from comment yesterday when the alert was posted avoiding consternation for saying "she will be found" because, though all Amber Alerts have to be taken seriously, it is becoming the norm (e.g. for kids in G'burg & the Village w/increase in such alerts) to take off on whim w/o telling anyone.
