Robber is still at-large.
Police are looking for a person who robbed M & T Bank in Damascus on Friday and have released surveillance photos with hopes someone will recognize the robber. Police said the robbery happened at 12:51 p.m. at the 9801 Main Street branch. A man robbed a teller, placed the cash in a plastic bag and left the bank. Police described the robber as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 5’10″ tall, with a thin build. Police said he was wearing a red, Aeropostale sweatshirt with the words, “AERO 1987″ in white letters. Montgomery County police released photographs Wednesday of a suspect in the early-November robbery at a Germantown Subway restaurant. Officers responded to the Subway restaurant, located at 19911 Frederick Road, at approximately 9:22 a.m. on Nov. 4, for the report of a commercial armed robbery, police said. An investigation revealed the suspect entered the front door, walked to the cash register, displayed a handgun, and demanded money, police said. An employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot through the back door of the business. Police: Female knocked down, robbed in Wheaton
An purse snatching in Wheaton has lead to charges against a Germantown man, according to Montgomery County Police. Keith Hudson, 21, of Germantown, was charged with robbery and two counts of theft following an incident reported Thursday, Sept. 6, in the 11500 block of Bucknell Drive, according to a police spokeswoman and court records Patch accessed online. At around 8:30 p.m., a female reported being shoved by a robber, who took her purse, MCP Officer Angela Cruz told Patch. A preliminary hearing for Hudson was scheduled for Oct. 5, court records show. Police said they believe another male suspect also was involved.

Montgomery County Police are looking for two suspects tied to an alleged bus stop robbery in Germantown on Monday, Sept. 10. Police said at around 5:15 a.m., the suspects struck a male victim at Shakespeare Road and Observation Drive. The suspects were described as black males, between 20 and 25 years old. One suspect was about 5’7” at 160 pounds and was wearing a baseball cap; the other was described as between 5’9 and 5’10, and between 165 and 180 pounds. Robbery reported in 7-Eleven parking lot
A Germantown man has been charged following reports of an armed robbery outside a Silver Spring 7-Eleven. Douglas I. Romero, 20, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and two counts of second-degree assault, according to Montgomery County Circuit Court records accessed by Patch. According to Police, the charges stem from an alleged incident in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven on Amherst Ave. Police alleged that around 4 a.m. Sept. 1., Romero and Joselito Ramos, a Gaithersburg man who faces similar charges, got into a fight with another man and took his wallet, court records state. Public Defender’s office was listed as representing Romero and Ramos, 22. Preliminary hearings were scheduled for Sept. 28.

Gaithersburg man charged with burglary, robbery and assault.
A Gaithersburg man faces criminal charges following reports of an alleged strong-arm robbery and assault in Germantown. Terrance Whitaker, 20, of the 12000 block of Sheets Farm Road, was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, robbery and theft, according to Montgomery County District Court records. The charges stem from two incidents reported along Scenery Drive, a Montgomery County Police spokeswoman told Patch. Detectives say Gunn robbed two Kentlands salons and five other businesses in Rockville and Germantown.
UPDATE: Police have charged Ramon Michael Gunn, 25, with six additional armed robberies that occurred in Rockville, Gaithersburg and Germantown. Gunn was arrested on Feb. 18 after police observed him allegedly robbing Night Dreams, an adult toy store in Rockville. While questioning him, police said Gunn admitted to several additional armed robberies, including two hair salons in the Kentlands neighborhood of Gaithersburg. (Updated 4:53 p.m.) Montgomery County Police said three suspects were involved the kidnapping, robbery and attempted murder of a 31-year-old Germantown man. Police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer McNeal said one man — 24-year-old Quinnton Brown of the 8900 block of Footed Ridge, Columbia, Md., — was arrested. McNeal was unable to provide information about the other two suspects. Montgomery County Police are investigating a series of robberies at a Germantown Subway, the most recent incident reported Tuesday night. Detectives have obtained surveillance video from the Tuesday’s robbery and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. At around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, officers from Montgomery County’s 5th District station responded to reports of a robbery at the Subway, at 12601 Wisteria Drive. Masked stun gun robber still at large.
Montgomery County Police are looking for a blue Nissan Maxima possibly linked to at least two reported stun gun robberies at a Germantown ATM. A masked man with a stun gun has been robbing late-night ATM users at the drive-through Bank of America ATM, at 19707 Germantown Road, with the most recent robbery reported 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 19. Police said an ATM user was trying to make a deposit when a masked man approached from behind and said, “freeze.” The driver reported seeing and hearing a Taser, said Montgomery County Police 5th District Cmd.
