Police: Teen Robbers Arrested
Montgomery County Police arrested three Germantown youths
Three teens are in police custody following reports of a strong-arm robbery in Germantown on Oct. 24, a Montgomery County Police spokeswoman told Patch. The robbery was reported at the intersection of Wisteria Drive and Witherspoon Lane at around 5:30 p.m. The teens allegedly approached the victim from behind and struck the person, according to Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Angela Cruz. Information about whether charges had been filed against the teens was unavailable. In most circumstances, Patch does not name offenders who are minors. Those arrested were:

Sure minors do some dumb things that they will likely outgrow. That is why minors usually get an easier time when it comes to penalties. But this was a crime of a predatory nature, not some guys getting into a fight over a girl or disrespect. They found a victim, outnumbered them, and then proceeded to attack them. They are grooming themselves for a lifetime of crime.   more ›
