A third-tier winning Powerball ticket worth $10,000 remains unclaimed in Prince George's County following last week's $587.5 million jackpot drawing. The winning Prince George's ticket was bought at Stop 4 All in Fort Washington, according to Maryland Lottery. Third-tier winners must match four of the winning numbers and the Powerball number. Winning numbers from the Nov. 28 drawing are 05, 16, 22, 23, and 29— and the Powerball was 6, according to Erica Palmisano, Maryland Lottery spokeswoman. A Powerball ticket worth $10,000 was purchased at a convenience store in Germantown and has not yet been claimed, Maryland Lottery officials said Tuesday. The ticket—the only third-tier winner in Montgomery County—was sold from the 7-Eleven at 19700 Frederick Road, according to a lottery spokesperson. The ticket holder has 182 days from the drawing date to redeem the prize. The drawing was held Thursday. While most Maryland Powerball players were hoping to win the $587.5 million jackpot last week, state lotto officials said 11 tickets sold in Maryland were second and third-tier prize winners—such as a woman from Edgewood who won $2 million.
