Now that we saw Ben Affleck's speech, i'm pleased for him. That's not to say I don't love the other films. This year had some strong contenders. Congrats to all! Still would like the boy's club to open their hearts to the girls who rock it like Bigelow does.

Robert: Great choices you added here, without a doubt. Since I had already chosen two with Olivier, I didn't include Hamlet, which as you say is amazing...why did i opt for Richard III and King Lear? The first is because of the amazing cast--like a Shakespeare Supergroup. The second, because he played in the longest play at his age, and rocked it. That seemed worthy!

James: it is less ironic, more optimistic, not as funny but way sweeter.
Sort of the young adult version of it, although with a different storyline
And a lot more romance. I'd say not as good in terms of being well rounded
But still highly entertaining -
